#1214 Disclosure - Settle

Big hard beats with soul underneath and among very-looped vocals, everything minimal, tuned towards songness, like Fatboy Slim regressed back into calcified legitimacy. There's a bodyrockerey here, and some expressive, effortless synthwork, but there's also something tuneless lurking in all the crannies, something detuned, something offkilter and uncannily deformed that puts my teeth on edge, that makes me tense without catharsis, a vibrating bus seat for 400 miles.
