This's super-smooth jazz-lite - not especially inventive, not especially sharp, all overproduced, complete with synths. Jamal's playing is sprightly, but the whole feel's just too plastic, sounding too much like something white people put on the 80's to show their visitors how sophisticated they were 2.5/5
